Dr. Pouratian has been awarded three BRAIN Initiative grants—one with three sites—and is a researcher with first-hand knowledge of invasive human neurophysiology requirements with a history of collaborating with Dr. Toga and Dr. Duncan at LONI on related big data projects.

Associate Professor of Neurology, Bioengineering, and Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Duncan is trained in mathematics and electrical engineering, and she has developed innovative mathematical and statistical methods to visualize complex associations among multiple variables as they evolve over time. She has performed extensive research with electrophysiological and imaging data. Dr. Duncan has built large-scale, multimodal data archives and associated analytic tools for various applications, including epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and COVID-19.
