General Information on Dataset Releases
Each B(RAIN)² dataset includes cortical and subcortical (Pallidum, STN, Thalamus) electrophysiological recordings in iEEG-BIDS format, raw pre-, post-, and intraoperative imaging data in BIDS format, behavioral data, and preprocessed data in the derivatives directory, all organized into an integrated BIDS directory for each subject.

Each participant's Integrated BIDS directory includes
Imaging data in BIDS format:
- Raw preoperative MRI scans:
- Anatomical imaging:
- Pre- and post-contrast T1-Weighted Imaging
- T2-Weighted Imaging
- Fast Gray Matter Acquisition T1 Inversion Recovery
- Diffusion Weighted Imaging:
- DWI, along with diffusion gradient information
- Anatomical imaging:
Electrophysiological data in iEEG-BIDS format:
- Intraoperative iEEG data, including obligatory and recommended parameters by iEEG-BIDS guidelines, such as ECoG and DBS coordinates, channels, events, Vhdr and Vmrk files, and corresponding .json files.
Derivatives Directory
Contains preprocessed and processed data for Imaging and Electrophysiological information for each subject:
Imaging Derivatives:
- FreeSurfer recon-all directory for all subjects
- FSL directory with preprocessed DWI data (BET, eddy, top-up, dtifit) and bedposts analysis outputs with default parameters.
- Lead_dbs directory: Lead-DBS directory for each subject containing coregistration, normalization, brainshift correction, and reconstruction outputs using Lead_dbs v3.1
- Pre- and post-operative CT scans
Electrophysiology Derivatives:
- ECoG and DBS electrode coordinates in MNI space with and without brainshift correction
Datasets
B(RAIN)2 Dataset 1
B(RAIN)² Dataset 1 includes electrophysiological recordings from cortical and subcortical regions (GPi, STN, Thalamus) during resting-state intraoperative sessions, along with pre-, post-, and intraoperative imaging across common modalities. Behavioral data, including UPDRS-III and Tremor scale assessments, are available for 45 participants with Parkinson's disease and Essential Tremor.

B(RAIN)² Dataset 2 includes electrophysiological recordings from cortical and subcortical regions (GPi, STN, Thalamus) during resting-state intraoperative sessions, along with pre-, post-, and intraoperative imaging across common modalities. Behavioral data, including UPDRS-III and Tremor scale assessments, are available for 30 participants with Parkinson's disease and Essential Tremor.
