Provider Controls

Provider Controls

Public or Private? You choose

Our data partners maintain complete control over their data and can make their projects, or parts of them, public or private. Providers may also share data with select individuals and approve or deny specific data requests.

Share Selectively with Subprojects

This feature gives providers full control over their datasets, allowing them to create and share only the subsets they are ready to make available.

Require a DUA

While DABI requires all users to sign a Data Use Agreement (DUA), we encourage providers to define their own data sharing stipulations and upload institutional DUAs before approving downloads. Users can request access to private datasets or those that require signing a DUA before downloading. Public data are immediately available for download and processing to DABI account holders. All DABI metadata are public and searchable.

Upload via the Cloud

DABI's cloud upload options, currently limited to Box, allow users to host data locally while displaying and distributing them through the DABI web portal. This feature requires configuration. Please contact DABI Support for assistance.
